About Maureen.
Maureen brings to her counselling role many and varied life expierences that assist and benefit individuals, couples and families. Maureen has worked in various roles throughout her working life that has enhanced her abilities when working for the benefit of her clients.
Some of Maureen's specialities in counselling include:

Maureen was a late starter in attending University and achieved her Bachelor of Counselling Degree, at the University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales. Maureen is an Affiliate Member of the Queensland Counsellors Association, and is a qualified Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programme (NLP). Maureen is a qualified Trainer and Facilitator and has ten years of counselling experience that includes volunteer work with organisations such as Lifeline.
Previous to her University studies, time was spent with her husband John, and the raising of their three children, Lisa, Leanne and Kerry. Her spare time is now spent with her family and their five grandchildren, and she enjoys her gardening, crafts and geneology.
Maureen has vast experience having worked in various industries in many roles both in the private and public sectors, and this has given her a wealth of knowledge to access that is of benefit to her clients.
